Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary is a registered charity which cares for and protects abused and ill-treated donkeys and other animals. (Although we do not actively rescue other animals, those that have joined us in recent years include two sheep, Buttercup & Daisy who were rescued from slaughter for meat, four goats, numerous chickens, two geese, two ducks and a pot bellied pig called Percy. Our donkey sanctuary is located in the picturesque village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, which is near Wallingford, Oxfordshire (England). We welcome visitors between 11am and 4pm daily. Although we do not charge an entrance fee, donations are appreciated.
