Galleries of Justice
Based at Nottingham’s old courthouse and gaol, there are many ways to explore the Galleries of Justice Museum, with free exhibitions, audio & performance led tours and a themed café.

Whatever you choose to do, you will be delving in to the dark and disturbing past of crime and punishment.

Opening times and costs

Christmas: We will be offering Audio tours from the 20th-23rd December, we will be closed from the 24th-26th December and the 1st-2nd January. from the 27th December you will be able to enjoy our fantastic new guided tour:

‘A Prisoner’s Tale: A ghostly encounter…..with the past!’

When are we open?

7 days a week! 

Mon-Fri, doors open 9.00-17.00. Tours run: 10.30 - 15.00

Weekends, School and bank holidays doors open 10.30 - 17.00. Tours run 11.00 – 16.00*

*January 2011 tour commence at 10.30 every hour.
