Admission Charges
It costs over £1m a year - £3,000 a day to keep the Cathedral open. Visitors are therefore asked to pay the following.
Children
Admission to the ground floor is free for the under 16s. Children
between the ages of 10 and 15 are charged £5.50 if they want to go on a
tower tour.

For safety reasons, children under 10 are not allowed to ascend the Octagon or West Towers.
A maximum of 12 persons only are permitted on Octagon or West Tower tours.
