Thorpe Farm Centre is a unique rural destination set in the heart of the Teesdale countryside, combining a family-friendly visitor attraction with quality holiday accommodation and a working farm. It’s the perfect place for families, couples, and travellers to relax, explore, and enjoy the countryside.
Our holiday park operates seasonally from March to October, offering caravan, motorhome and camping options, and a year-round pit stop area for passing visitors. Guests can meet and feed a variety of friendly animals in our paddocks, while children can enjoy hours of fun in the adventure play park and our indoor soft play area (suitable for ages 0–8 years).
On-site amenities include a welcoming café and restaurant, a well-stocked farm shop featuring local produce, and a calendar of seasonal events. Our location just off the A66 makes Thorpe Farm an ideal base for exploring the North Pennines, Yorkshire Dales, Hamsterley Forest, Barnard Castle, and surrounding attractions.
