Description
The Thomley Hall Centre is a new multi-purpose centre on the border between Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, set up to provide facilities for children and young adults with disabilities and/or specific needs.
Thomley Hall Centre consists of three facilities, each of which has been set up independently and incrementally:
- Thomley Activity Centre launched in July 2002 in the company of our patron Mr Jeremy Irons
- The Thomley Training Centre offered its first course, accredited by Oxford Brookes University, in October 2002
When you can come
Thomley’s opening hours are 10am – 3.30pm. Please note that advanced booking is necessary!
Thomley welcomes disabled children (0-16yrs), their families,
friends, inclusive schools, play schemes and groups. Thomley also holds
activity days for disabled adults (16yrs +).
All children (0-16yrs) are welcome on community days. The purpose of
community days is to encourage disabled and non-disabled children to
play together, to promote a greater understanding of differing
abilities.
