Windrush Path Mosaic Trail - Standlake

The Windrush Path Mosaic Trail consists of a series of striking and individual mosaics to act as way-markers and points of interest along a pretty two mile footpath.

Standlake Common Nature Reserve is situated on the Windrush Path, between Standlake and Newbridge.

It used to be a typical arable field but when when Oxfordshire County Council granted permission in the 1990s to extract gravel from this area of farmland it provided the opportunity to create a new nature reserve next to the River Thames.
