Description
This attraction offers close encounters with many
animals. These include cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry
traditionally found on farms in Ulster 100 years ago. Many of these
breeds are now rare or close to extinction.
- Irish Moiled cattle, the rarest breed of cattle in the world
- Dexter cattle, one of the smallest breed of cattle in the world
- Galway sheep, one of the rarest sheep in the British Isles
- Saddleback pigs, known throughout Ireland as the ‘Beltie’
- Poultry – Geese, hens, turkeys, ducks. pheasants, guinea fowl and peafowl.
