The Storm Cinemas Group has been
operating in Ireland since 2000. The first Storm Cinema to open was in
Cavan followed closely by the Storm Cinema in Portlaoise in 2001. The
popularity of Storm Cinemas was so great that the group quickly expanded
to 5 locations by 2008. Storm Cinemas now operate in Cavan, Portlaoise,
Limerick, Naas and Waterford.
Storm Cinemas offer something for
film fans of all ages, playing host to many special screening programs
such as Storm Kids Club, Storm Newbies, Storm Senior Screen & Storm
Flashbacks. Our cinemas also have an extensive retail offer from freshly
made popcorn to our mouth watering cheese or salsa nachos. We also
offer tasty Ben & Jerry's in various flavours, Ben & Jerry’s
Scoop Shops are available in our cinemas in Limerick and Waterford.
With 10 years experience, 30
screens and 5 locations, Storm Cinemas is one of the fastest growing
regional cinemas chains in Ireland. All of our cinemas have excellent
35mm projection equipment and the latest in 3D and digital projection
technology so you get the best possible cinema experience.
