Description
Stoke Park is Guildford's largest and best-known park, and is
described by local people as "the lungs of Guildford". It is an
extremely diverse and well-used green space with over 52 hectares of
leisure facilities. The park and its woodland have remained more

garden and icehouse. Heritage features that still exist today include

which is now used as a function venue; Burchatts Farm Barn. The
park is multi-functional, with year round sports pitches, woodland
areas, and formal gardens with a boating pond, paddling pool; children's
play area, tennis courts and putting green. There is indoor and outdoor
bowls, a trim trail paid for by a BIG Lottery grant and a very popular
skate park. The Park also provides a space for large events such as the
Surrey County Show, The Firework Fiesta, Race for Life and GuilFest. Stoke Park Gardens The
