Reading Museum & Town Hall is well known for its landmark
building in the centre of Reading and is part of Reading Borough
Council's cultural services. The Museum has Full Accreditation status
from the government's Museums, Libraries and Archives Council.
Reading Museum has been providing award-winning opportunities for
learning, inspiration and enjoyment since 1883 and provides hands-on
learning services with a national reputation for innovation and
excellence. The Museum & Town Hall’s period rooms and galleries
provide a thriving venue for conferences, exhibitions and weddings. The
Concert Hall is an important venue for classical music and comedy
events.
The Riverside Museum at Blake’s Lock tells the history of Reading’s rivers and hosts community art exhibitions in the summer.

Admission is FREE
Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm
Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday 11am to 4pm
Closed Mondays except Bank Holidays
Closed from Christmas Day to New Year's Day, and closed on Easter Sunday
