Preston Manor
Preston Manor offers over 20 magnificent and historical rooms to visit ranging from the elegance of the Edwardian boudoirs to the hearty practicality of the big kitchen sculleries.

All sympathetically refurnished to appear as original as possible, so a nicely atmospheric experience for the casual visitor and a wealth of information for those studying the period.
If you're got big and brave types, it's worth checking out the options for the the Ghost Tours! Tales of haunted happenings here are well established so it's a great point of interest for those excited by such things. Plus if you've got kids that way inclined then the Murder in the Manor website will be right up their street for when you get home: it's a gently horrifying mystery game which is set in Preston Manor and is written by a local group of 12 to 16 year olds. Well worth having a look if you've got the mettle!
Remember it's linked to the very lovely and frankly enormous Preston Park, so you've got some great active family fun to follow up with! Have a look at our listing as it's managed separately.
