Description
The museum has anthropology, natural history and musical instruments of about 350,000 objects. Also a large collection of stuffed animals and an aquarium noted for its unique layout. 16 acres (65,000 m2) of gardens which include a rose and sunken gardens, herbaceous borders, and ethno-botanical planting, to wild flower displays. Also a nature trail, Grade II listed conservatory, bandstand from 1912 and a small Animal Enclosure which is a home to goats, rabbits, chickens and geese.
