Set in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, with historic and interesting villages nearby. Site of the Foxton Inclined Plane Boat Lift, a remarkable piece of Victorian engineering, soon to be undergoing restoration. Many hundreds of canal boats pass through the locks every year, providing a colourful attraction. Wildlife, flora and fauna thrive in the ideal habitat.
