Description
Have a great day out at Dudley Zoo with some of the rarest and most exotic creaures from all over the world, They have togers, lemurs( funny furry animals) lions and penguins to name but a few.
They have lots of other stuff going on as well please check their events calendar.
As a Charity we rely upon donations from our visitors to support our animal welfare and conservation work. The Adult price includes a voluntary donation of £1 towards our conservation work. If you choose not to support our conservation work the normal Adult admission price is £8.95. If you are a UK taxpayer and agree to pay the £9.95 donation under the Gift Aid scheme we can claim an additional £2.80 back from the Government on this admission at no additional cost to you.
Please note that children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Permission must be obtained in advance from the Press Office for all filming and photography used for commercial purposes.
Dudley Zoo currently homes three Asiatic Lions. In historical times Lions were found from the Balkans, through the Arabian Peninsula to Central India. They were well-known in Biblical times and in the Roman circuses.
Asiatic/Himalayan Black Bear The small eyes of the bear, along with its rounded ears, a long snout, a large body, a short tail, and shaggy hair, differentiate it from the other types of bears. Asiatic black bears also have a whitish V-shaped breast patch. Axolotls are large aquatic salamanders, only found in certain parts of Mexico, and are often known as Mexican Walking Fish, however are not fish but are amphibians. the canal systems of the former Lake Xochimilcho. Officially an endangered species they have been captive bred since the 1800s.
