Dr Jenners House
Dr Jenners House is a really interesting place to visit, especially if you are a fan of science or history.
Smallpox, which Jenner called the Speckled Monster, killed 10% of the population, rising to 20% in cities, where it spread more easily.
It accounted for a third of child deaths! Discover how the World Heath Organisation managed to conquer this disease only 30 years ago.
Your visit will start with really informative introductory video, then a tour with friendly guides along the way, who really know their stuff. Make sure you don’t miss the guided “Ghosts in the Attic’ exhibition, its brilliant so you might want to book it in advance.
