The Museum has an extensive collection of items ranging from costumes and accessories, to agricultural and mining hand tools.

Find out what life was like below stairs when you visit the Great Kitchen, Still Room Bakehouse, and Laundry. The Chapel is also worth a visit as it has stunning ceiling paintings to admire.
Outside, there are buggy friendly paths through the historic 18th century landscape, which includes the restored ‘ye greate river’, plus a number of lakes that support plenty of wildlife, including kingfishers, water voles, and beautiful orchids.
