Description
Roll up your sleeves and get creative at the Corris Craft Centre in Mid Wales. There are a different activities to choose from: - Pottery Painting; choose your piece of pottery, design it and then paint it using different paints, sponges, brushes etc. - Candle Dipping; starting with a pair of wicks, dip the wicks into different coloured waxes and see your pair of candles "growing" as the layers of wax build up. - Mix your own Herbals; using a pestle and mortar grind fragrant herbal ingredients to create your own spellbinding mixtures.
You can also book ahead to create unique handmade giftcards (and for adults only due to the tools used, there are rustic furniture building courses too).
Corris Craft Centre is home to 9 craft workshops where the resident designer-makers can be see working on most days. Find unique crafts for your home, garden and gifts for others including traditional wooden toys, jewellery, candles, handmade gift cards, leatherware, pottery, glassware, rustic furniture and herbal lotions and remedies.
Corris Craft Centre is open from March to the end of October. Many of the designer-makers are working at other times of the year but it's always best to phone before making a special journey. |
