Cinderford Tae Kwon-Do was opened by husband and wife team, Kenneth & Melinda Penman in June 2009.
We’re members of the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB), the largest single Martial Art organisation in Europe; Ken is 2nd Dan Instructor, and Mel is 2nd Dan Assistant Instructor. We’re both fully insured with enhanced DBS certifications, and First Aid qualifications.
We have over 35 years of Tae Kwon-Do experience between us, training with twice World Champion Master Tony Farr, 6th Dan, in Monmouth.
We’re a family run, family friendly club; our adult-sized children, Anwen, Rhiannon and Thomas are also Black Belts, training since 2004, and are involved in helping out at our clubs (when time allows), and our youngest, Seren, training since the age of nearly 3 in 2011, became a Black Belt in 2019.
