Opened in June 1997, Cardigan Heritage Centre is housed in a Grade 2 listed building on the banks of the river Teifi.

The development is managed by Hanes Aberteifi who have put together a permanent exhibition tracing the history of the town form pre-Norman times to the present day. The society also organises a range of changing exhibitions on local themes.

Books on local history, souvenirs, postcards and other heritage related items are on sale in the small gift shop.
