Cardigan Bay Watersports

Watersports centre offering taster sessions and courses. Sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding. Hire of kayaks and paddle boards. Cardigan Bay Watersports opened its doors on 1st July 2003. The Centre began life as a community development project of New Quay’s development company, Cei Dev Ltd. With New Quay’s sheltered waters it was a natural home for water based activities. Start-up funds were provided from the EU Objective 1 initiative with a grant from Sport Lot to provide the building, boats and other equipment and to pump prime the enterprise for three years. Ceredigion County Council provided the site for the centre and boat compound. | |||||||||||||||||||||
