Description
The Broom House Woodland Adventure Trail will reopen in April 2011. Broom House offers Durham's most exciting action packed fun for all the family. Follow the trails, attempt the woodland challenges...climb the towers, wizz down the slide, fly along the zip wire and dare to enter the tunnels. Solve the quizzes amongst the trees, there's something for all ages.Enter Woodpecker Wood, choose your path and use your instincts to explore the woodland. Meet the unexpected at every turn and enjoy the magic of nature. Sit and enjoy the tranquil scenery, watch wildlife from the hide and learn about the trees and animals in the wood.
Come and meet some of our animals
Enjoy a taste of the countryside meet some of our farm animals and see our sheep and cattle grazing in the nearby pastures. Don't miss the piglets, the ducks and the doves, shetland pony and his friends in the paddock!
Grassy picnic and play area with giant bale maze, sandpit, climbing frame, swings, pedal tractors and games
Refreshments and Light lunches available in our coffee shop.
Cloakroom & baby changing facilities on site.
Friendly dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
School groups welcome.
Admission prices are £4.50 adults, £4 OAPS and children over 3, £1 children 1-2. Family ticket (2 + 2) £16.00. Season tickets available
Please note children will not be allowed on the trail unattended.
