It's not widely publicised, but Britain is one of the world's best-served nations when it comes to digital lending, as most of our libraries have signed up to provide books through the DRM-managed OverDrive system.

They have an excellent choice of eBooks and you can borrow up to 3 eBooks at once for a period of 3 weeks .. and the best part is that they are all free.

You don't even have to leave the house to join the library, I completed an online application and my library card ad Pin number, which you need to log onto the website was posted to me free of charge within 10 days.

The eBooks are available to read on most eBook readers, tablets and other devices.

The link is to a website that helps you get started ..

There are literally thousands of books, here is just a small example:
All of the Lee Child - Jack Reacher Novels
All of the Jeremy Clarkson Books
Idiot abroad books
Tony Blair, Jonathan Ross, Steve Jobs, Rob Brydon and hundreds of other autobiographies
Neil Gaiman childrens books
