At the falconry centre there are daily bird of prey flying displays from Easter to September and aviaries that are open year round. You’ll fall in love with the delightful Edwardian courtyard, home to numerous craft shops offering gifts galore, beautifully handcrafted either on site or around the world including Mexico, India, Kashmir and Thailand. There are lots of activities to do for children and adults at Blakemere Village. Next to the Village Green you will find our free children’s outdoor adventure play park for ages 2 to 10 years. Barnaby’s Play Barn offers a safe, fun environment for children who want to burn off some energy as well as a soft play area for under 3’s. The Cheshire Craft Workshop is a paint-your-own pottery & craft studio situated in Blakemere Village in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. A family run business where you can make a pot on the wheel, paint a pot, make candles and decopatch to your heart’s content, socialise and enjoy a freshly ground cup of Italian coffee! Blakemere Village has plenty to see and do, making it a great place for a family day out, as there is something for everyone, from a number of boutiques set in and around an Edwardian stable block, to a number of cool activities that the kids will love! There is a children’s outdoor adventure play park next to the Village Green, which is great for kids aged 2 to 10 years, and may wear the kids out enough that they let you look around a shop that you want to visit!
