| Nature of Enquiry | Most construction/remodeling type ocpmanies offer free estimates (especially now with the housing market in decline) so I would call a few. Have them out and explain what you want. See if they say it's possible or not, or if the cost would be worth doing it anyway.Sounds like a cool idea! I bet it's possible, with some sort of hinged-metal door on both sides. You'd have to be able to close it up on the inside if you were using it outside, I think, due to winds and the strong possibilty of your living room catching on fire. Even with this door-type thing, it would make your LR drafty in the winter probably.But just ask, because someone, somewhere can probably figure out a way to do this. If you hear it can't be done from two ocpmanies, I'd try again because they may just not know how, or may not want to undertake such a unique task. Good luck to you, though, I hope it can be done! |
