Val Bryant spoke to someone in your organisation recently and I understand that Askern Air Cadets may be interested in taking part in the Burghwallis Village Fete on Sunday the 21st July and would like more details.
The Fete is taking place behind the Burghwallis Pub and the village playing field adjacent to the pub between 12.30 and 16.30. Apart from stalls selling various goods, crafts etc. we are having a display from the St. John’s Ambulance Brigade, performances from two bands, a female singer and a 17th Century troupe. There will be on-going games etc. organised by Owston Scouts on the playing field too.
If you would like to be involved in any way, perhaps you could let me know.
I have attached a poster advertising the event. If you would be kind enough to put it on your notice board we would be extremely grateful.
