Re: Church Fete – Saturday 18th May 2013
We are writing to ask if you would be willing to support our Church Fete by providing complimentary tickets/vouchers for our stall called “A Grand Day Out”. Last year we had a great attendance and the stall did really well. This stall has become very popular and the days out are quite a talking point. Our Fete is attended by hundreds of people of all ages both families and couples who enjoy trips out so your support will be a real attraction. If you are able to help, then we would be only to happy to display any of your leaflets around the stall to advertise your venue this is our way of saying thank you for supporting us.
We realise that you must have a lot of requests so we would like to give you a little bit of history about our event. Fawkham and Hartley are two small villages with a strong sense of community. The Church Fete has been held every year for the last 62 years and is a very popular event. The Church is pro-active and plays an important part in the whole community eg. organising a summer club for all children in the area, regular visits into the local schools, Sunday schools, refurbishing the church hall which is used by the Brownies, Guides and other local groups and so on.
Any support you would be able to offer would be very much appreciated.
