Description
There are over 200 animals at Dartmoor Zoological Park: from tiny stick insects to Ben our Brown Bear or Solomon our Lion all set in over 30 acres of beautiful parkland. Discover something different, learn something amazing and help us make tomorrow's world rich in animal life.
Our new meerkats, Sue and Timon, took up residence in their brand new enclosure on Thursday watched by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors.
The new enclosure provides the best possible views of these amazing creatures and despite all the close-up attention they've settled right in and are already turning their attention to the serious business of starting a family
How to Find it: Directions: From the A38, Turn off at Plympton, (Deep Lane Junction), follow the signs for either Sparkwell or the brown tourism signs for "Wildlife Park".
Opening Hours
The zoo is open every single day of the year, rain or shine.
Summer (April to November): 10am - 6pm
Winter (November to April): 10am - 4pm
